Now You're Talkin'!

I have a 535BK-2 Bugout with CF-Elite scales - I also have a Bugout with grivory scales, it doesn't compare to the feel and stiffness of CF-Elite. This Mini Presidio II is slightly LESS expensive than a grivory Bugout. It is a perfect size for EDC, possessing CF-Elite scales and steel liners, at the modest weight of 3.2 ounces. Outstanding feel, razor sharp, fit and finish are superb. The action is stiff out of the box, that should soon remedy itself. This folder is a tremendous value while being a seemingly unsung member of the Benchmade lineup. I could not be more pleased.

Great EDC Blade

This is my first Benchmade. I handled the Bugout but the handle felt too small. The Mini Presidio feels just right. The milled out steel liners give the knife just a bit of weight but make the handles feel rock solid. The blade is identical in shape and size to my Kershaw Skyline - great for EDC. Handle texture feels great. Pocket clip is perfect.

Didnt see this coming

Something about this knife was calling me. So i orderd it in the cf cause i dont really like heavy knives. I had no idea this would end up beating out every other knife out of my rather large edc line up. Its well built , kinda plain , carrys nice , and doesn't tear up my jeans pocket. I find myself taking naps and leaving it in my pocket You can tell its there but its not bad at all. I have alot of nice knives but i prefer this one and im even thinking about getting a 2nd one.

This might be the perfect EDC knife for actual use

This knife isn't the lightest, or the prettiest knife, but for everyday actual use, it would be hard to find a better knife. Decently light, S30V is good steel, and the ergonomics are very good in the had. I like the drop point, almost dagger shaped blade. Axis lock feels sturdy and operates smoothly.

Awesome Presidio II

I'm a Benchmade fan already owning 15 different ones. I love the looks and the feel in my hand and the quality and it's a great example of a great AMERICAN made product. It came very sharp and the blade was dead center and the action was awesome and I would recommend this knife to any one looking for a perfect EDC. THANK YOU BENCHMADE and the Knife Center. James A.

Benchmade mini presidio 2 cf elite

I took a chance on this knife last week from knife center,And I absolutely love it,Well centered and sharp right out of the box,Carbon fiber elite scales are lightweight and solid with skeletonize stainless steel liners and solid lock up with no blade play whatsoever,Parkerized deep carry pocket clip works well also,Knife cuts like a dream with the s30v steel blade,Don’t know what Benchmade does to their s30v but it always seems to be a step or two above everyone else that does s30v,If you’re thinking about getting one,Do it and you will not regret it I assure you

OMG! What a knife.

I have 30 or 40 knifes. This is believe it or not my first Benchmade. For me it's the perfect knife. It fits my hand like a glove, and with the c.f. is super light. The sv30 is really sharp and cut's like a dream. Can't tell you what to buy, but will buy many more bencmades. Everyone's edc is different, and this is mine. Also love the deep pocket clip.

What the Bugout should be!!

This knife, in my opinion is the best overall EDC option you can get from Benchmade!! It has exactly what the Bugout should have, stainless liners for rigidity, excellent pocket clip, decent thinness behind the edge, CF elite scales, which when they are paired with stainless liners are very strong. The blade shape is perfect. Benchmade would be foolish not to continue pushing upgrades for this line. The only reason it isn’t wildly popular at this point is the result of people just not having yet figured out how good it really is. With more and more excellent reviews the secret will eventually get out and this knife will catch a following similar to the Bugout, which by the way I think the Presidio 2 or Mini Presidio 2 are way better knives for carry than the Bugout and cost less. But this won’t last long and people are going to start discovering this little diamond in the rough!!

Pros: Blade Sharpness
Cons: Ease of Opening, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type

Weak detent

I got the Benchmade Mini Presidio II and expected it would be great based on all the reviews, including DCAs, but this blade does not snappily flip open with the thumb stud and the blade is so light weight and the Axis bar tuning is so badly tuned, I can't use the crossbar lock to flip the knife back into the body of my knife. I was expecting a smaller version of my regular sized Benchmade Griptilian, which opens and closes with ease with the crossbar/Axis lock, and I didn't get it with this knife. I would usually try to tune the pivot screw but with an Axis lock, I won't risk it..
