Mini Barrage Perfection

I use this product from cutting down a couple hundreds of boxes and many other around the house tasks. The Richlite handle feels amazing. The blade has a DLC the likes of which I have never seen before. Thankfully the knife has a safety switch along the spine. You can lock the blade closed and you can lock the blade open due to this bright idea. The spring assist in the Barrage snaps/locks the blade completely open OR closed. Let's see here the color combination looks fantastic. That spring assist is so strong that when you open the blade up it actually has a bit of recoil. I cannot recommend this knife enough. Best Benchmade I have had in 10 years.

The Rolls Royce of the Barrage

Only had it a week but am already using it a good bit. From cutting down boxes to stripping wires and even scraping off old paint. Things that are great about it? As for now it is one of the NICEST Benchmades I have ever had. To begin with there was not a single flaw anywhere on it. The Richlite handle feels great. The coil spring opening assist kicks open so fast and hard it nearly has recoil. Then there is my favorite feature which is the lock along the spine of the blade. You can lock it shut so it won't open accidentally and at the same time you can lock the blade open. The DLC on the blade is super high quality. Quite honestly I have never seen such a heavy duty DLC on anything else. The blade steel is S30V which is just fine. What do I wish I knew before I bought it? I wish I knew BM is using the old arrow clip which means the end of the knife sits a quarter inch out of most pockets. I wish BM would have just used a deep carry clip with the same unique copper like finish like is on the arrow clip it comes with. In the end you just cannot lose with any Barrage let alone these special Richlite editions.
