Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Overall Quality
Cons: None

Benchmade 9070

This knife feels very strong and no blade play. The blade snaps out hard (I like) but some people that I let examine it, did not hold on tight and it has flown out of their hands (just a warning). The scales and the pocket clip are both excellent. I have had it for about 6 months and carry it every day, I would recommend it. Terry M.

Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Pocket Clip

Awesome knife with one moderate flaw

The Claymore is great in general. Automatic function deploys quickly and locks sturdily. There’s is a safety switch for auto. My problem has been the safety switch being disengaged when I put into pocket. It carry’s tip up, and safety engage is toward blade. Disengage is the same direction that friction presses on when inserting into pocket. Anyway it’s come open twice on me. This blade is no joke, when it’s open in your pocket (I didn’t feel it release) and you stick your hand in there, I got a pretty decent cut, I didn’t really feel it because it’s incredibly sharp. A month later it opened again and another pretty decent cut. The safety doesn’t require much pressure and isn’t recessed at all. It will happen to other people. That is a terrible design on a bad a** knife. Also the pocket clip has zero bite. I’m going to try to bend it.
