Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
If you like the Benchmade 940 series of knives...
then this is the cherry on top. I've always loved this blade shape on the 940's, but while they are one of my favorite knives (I have 2 or 4 of the series), I wasn't as comfortable opening them as say, one of my many Spyderco's. Once the Benchmades are open, they're good for almost anything you have in mind. This knife opens with an almost ProTech-like zeal - a very satisfying feeling, not like it wants to jump out of your hand, but you sure know that it's snapped open. The green scales feel great - it's almost as if there were a very thin coat of rubber on the aluminum. There's a lock lever indented into the spine, and the purple, full-length back-spacer just makes the knife look spectacular. I pre-orderded this knife from Knife Center as soon as I saw it. It took several months to get, and it's everything I thought it would be. If you're thinking about it, don't hesitate, just get it. You won't be disappointed.
