An Even More EDC Friendly Osbourne

The Original 940 is a bit on the larger size for where I live. This smaller size works perfectly. Initially, it was a bit stiff out of the box but once it broke in after a few days it's amazing. Glides open or closed, thumb studs well thought out. All the great parts of the original but in a more compact version. I like how they carried over the S30V, the green handles, and the purple back spacers. It carries the spirit over to a smaller size that is more versatile yet still tough enough. By choosing the slightly thinner blade stock they really improved the slicing ability of the blade. I like how this smaller one compliments its larger version but also is of a size and features to stand alone.

Punches above its weight

This knife does a great job of riding the line between small and medium. Folded up, it could practically disappear and feels smaller than it really is. Deployed, there's just enough handle to comfortably accommodate 4 fingers if needed and it feels great. The reverse tanto blade is versatile and built to be tough. What you get here is a very convenient, polite EDC, that if necessary can be pushed to do more heavy duty work. Not something to cut boxes with for 8 hours a day or what have you, but if spontaneously you had to take down a handful of them you wouldn't be in any trouble. Deployment, lockup, etc. are all good but that's just a given with a knife of this quality.
