Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip
Mostly Great
Overall this is a good knife for this price point. Sharpness out of the box was and still is excellent. I put this to work right away and it holds up as well as D2 can be expected to. The spring assist for opening using the flipper tab is outstanding. It really snaps out crisply (I play with it a lot because of that). Only downsides in my opinion are the locking frame which is very difficult to push making one-handed closing of the knife fairly difficult and potentially dangerous if not careful (not to mention you're fighting the spring assist when closing, adding to that difficulty), and the pocket clip which is very flimsy. I wear this knife on my belt at work (military), and the clip got bent open when it snagged the arm rest of a chair. It was a fixable problem (bent it back after removing it then put it back on the knife), but that may be more than you're willing to deal with. These issues are very minor for me but are worth mentioning. Overall, I recommend this knife at this price.
