Elegant inexpensive folder
The Kansei pattern is a winner. Not too big. Not too small. Light, but with the right amount of heft. I've ended up with three variations of this Boker pattern. The VG-10 blade can be stropped to be wickedly sharp. It is thin and slicey and mine all lock up solidly. They are not workhorses for heavy tasks but rather elegant folders meant to cut and look good. The actions on these tend to work quite smoothly and are easy to maintain. This version with the white resin handles is a new favorite. The scales arrived with a lovely off white patina and are very grippy like a paper Micarta. I'm not certain what the resin is made of but would like to see Boker use in other traditional folder models as it is quite pleasing both to look at and hold.

Great action. Great feel. Sharp blade. A gentlemanly knife that is sure to impress. A thin profile a little on the small size. The price was right and you won’t regret it.

Very good flipping action and lock. Nice you can use it like a regular back flipper with the extra tab. Good tight build. Looks cool -- the white is kind of throwback. Always liked VG-10. Really hard to do better at this price.
