Very useful, slim, easy to carry

I use it every day. Versatile. Great in shirt / coat pocket. Takes edge well with diamond hone. Opening packages, etc. It is a useful handyctool. It is NOT a combat dagger. But it will do some in a pinch. If you want a combat dagger, get one.

Could be better

Most of the cons you can read about in the other reviews: Blade play, clip issues, hardware issues. What I do enjoy from this knife was the two-position lock. You get a bit sturdier lock-up from the halfway position at the cost of length. Or if you're just hacking away at something and don't care, you can go full-extension. It's a nice design choice. I didn't have some of the dullness issues others did, but I did touch it up some after the first week or so of usage to get it where I wanted it. Like others here, this piece got relegated to the "looks cool, but mostly used to open mail" category after I got over the novelty of it.

Cool idea, but underwhelming

I like the slim profile of this knife, and it has a "cool" factor of an OTF, but there are some issues. First is blade play. There is expected to be some blade play in an OTF, I own several including some low budget, but this has A LOT of blade play. The other issue is the screws almost all come loose repeatedly. I used some loctite to fix the issue, but I don't like that it had the issue to begin with. overall, it's cool to have, but not very well executed by Boker.

Butter Knife Dull

It's an out the front knife. It isn't very wide. When using the clip, the button for the lock scratches your hand when you reach into your pocket for something other than the knife. It came in a giant box. Opened it to a giant knife case. Opened it to a small knife. Small knife no issue since dimensions are accurate, just thought it funny to have large packaging for a small knife. Dull, did I say dull? Cutting butter without first sharpening could present an issue. There is no edge. A see the attempt at an edge on one side of the each blade only. Now I have to spend time getting an edge on the knife. It opens good, but not great. Not something you can use one handed very well. With practice I guess it will be better. You can sort of flick it open when unlocked, but you have to unlock, flick to the middle open position, then unlock and flick a second time to get to fully open position. Disappointed, but will keep it anyhow. Rated it lower because I have to sharpen right out of the box. Some of the other things noted come with this type of knife.

Novelty Letter Opener

Probably the worst knife purchase I have made lately. -1 for blade play (back and forth, side to side) -1 bad design, two tiny screws holding where most leverage will be applied if you were to use it (please don't use it where it needs to be counted on) -1 no way to quickly deploy the blade, your FINGERS get in the way of deploying the blade when trying open one handed If you thought "oh cool little backup knife", look somewhere else. Cool knife idea, poor execution. May be little thicker handle so they can cover the other side of button lock when pressed. If i wasn't a procrastinator I would return it but i am so I'll be using it as a letter opener, at least mine came sharp enough to cut paper.
