Love it! Wish it had a lock.

Daily carry, mostly for office use, so light duty stuff like opening packages or fruit. Practically perfect size for this situation. Non-threatening to coworkers because of shape and size. Love the classic lines and usefulness of the drop point blade. I've been a fan of Boker's gentleman knives and have a couple others. I'm not in an area that precludes locking knives, so I wish that there were a locking version. I would snap that up. I would also prefer a drop point without the swage.

My Original Review Apparently Got Lost, So I'll Try Again!

Though I've failed nearly every time I've tried to deploy this knife without a wrist-flick, I'm confident I can master that issue, just as I'm confident I will own it for the rest of my life! Wow! That blade is sharp! Gotta' love CPM-20CV! And the black G10 handles truly augment the nearly mirror finish of the satin blade! A gem of a folder! Your team surely had your thinking caps on, when you designed this knife! Its uniqueness will make it a permnent member of my eclectic 250÷pc collection! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; GET IT WHILE YOU CAN; IT'S A COLLECTOR'S ITEM!

Love my new little knife, but?

Great little knife. Very slicey and you don't even know you're carrying it until you need. I love it. But after 3 months of ownership the pocket clip has slipped over the head of the single screw that holds it on. So it's lost. Hoping I am able to get a new clip for it because I sure would miss carrying it. I love it's size and it's perfectly capable of doing everything i require of it. The screw was still firmly in place when I reached for it. But it was in my pocket and the clip was missing.

Truly Unique!

Will carry this little gem in my gym shorts around the house, and make it my gentleman's knife for special ocasions; love the doluble detent and flipper deployment: Love CPM20CV; I'll own it for life (Did I say it's sharp? It bit me on my first flip!; but it won't get me again!) Highly recommended; a must buy for it's uniqueness and limited run!

This is a very nice knife...pics don't give it justice! I had to break it in when it first arrived it was a little stiff opening and closing but flic it for a day! Smooth action!! It's my 5th biker and can't wait to add another to my collection.

This is a really sweet small pocketknife

This is a great knife. It is small and lightweight, easy to carry and nicely sharp. Knifecenter came up with this model and it really checks a lot of boxes. Nice handle with domed shape. The blade is a great steel - 20CV and full flat ground. It flips beautifully - smooth and easy. I love everything the designer thought of - reversible clip - deep carry, great steel, non locking and short size to allow carry in most jurisdictions. It is quality all the way and priced well.

Barlow done right

This little knife is almost perfect. For light use it delivers and disappears in the pocket. Anything that compares is way more expensive. It’s a little smaller in the hand than I anticipated but ok. Please please please produce the same knife with a 3.25 to 3.75” blade. I’ll take 2 of them. I highly recommend this knife if you like them small.

Awesome little knife

This knife is well thought out. I love the retro blade shape. It came sharp, centered and smooth operation. It’s a little smaller in the hand than I thought it would be, but it has its place in my rotation. Please make a 3.5 to 3.75” version. You could use S35VN or any premium steel to hold the cost down. A larger blade might allow for a finger choil to prevent accidental closure. Good job Knifecenter.

Great little knife, but not perfect

I recently lost my sweet little slipjoint knife, and had my eye on this as a replacement. It's a great value, the materials are nice, and the design is thoughtful. However, I feel that the double detent is more of a bug than a feature. I'd much rather have a small linerlock...this thing is a little dangerous...

A bit small

I ordered this, only finding out it had no lock once it arrived. If that was my only issue, then I might have kept it. But it was also too small for my hand. The combination of those two issues really made it difficult to use safely. Also, where the carve out for clip is on the bottom, the G10 ends up bing sharp on the sides. If I was keeping it, I could’ve probably fixed that with a file. But with the small size, this part was always pressed into my palm as I tried to grip the knife to open it and I found it uncomfortable.

One step from the perfect knife

EDC I really love every feature of this knife. Fits in my shirt pocket, smooth opening, feels just right in my hand, razor sharp, and for a desk jockey like myself many uses. But to be perfect it needs a blade locking mechanism. That smooth opening is an equally smooth closing and I have already come close to cutting a finger too many times when I have accidentally bumped the blade.

Not the smoothest opener...

There is nothing inherently wrong with the design or function of this knife. Though I was surprised at it's dainty proportions (my fault for not paying closer attention to the specs) the materials are extremely good for the price point. And it looks every bit the handsome EDC. It is, in theory, a perfect multi purpose, middle weight duty pocket knife. In theory. In practice, the blade does not flip out with the assurance and ease of almost every other knife I own, and I own way too many! It is slow to pop open, and in about 1 of every 4 deployments, it doesn't fully extend and lock into place. I thought perhaps I just wasn't giving it a forceful enough flick; but I asked a couple other knife guys I work with, and they agreed there was more resistance than there should be. Maybe in time, it'll loosen up, but I get the feeling my impatience will get the better of me, and the knife will find a permanent place in my "sits in a drawer, never to see the light of day again" collection! Such is life...
