Classic gent's knife!

A great, classy carry, the quintessential pull-from-your-pocket gentleman's steak knife. Never hit the Outback without it, mate. Some corrections to the specs shown here, though: it's a 3.7" blade, not 3.0; and 8.1" overall, not 7. It's that extra length that gives it such a right feel in the hand.

The first 3 pictures don't do it justice

While this was in my collection this was easily the most beautiful knife I owned. The action was almost perfect, it came shaving sharp, and the was overall perfect for my office job. The only downside to me was that it is a right-side tip-up carry. At the time I owned one I was accustomed to left side carry and accidentally gave myself a really good slice on my left hand. The tip of the knife (at least on mine) stuck out of the handle just a hair. Just make sure you carry it on the right and at the back of your pocket and you will be perfect. It was well worth the price tag and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an elegant knife for almost any day-to-day occasion.

Perfect for a discrete carry

The perfect gentleman's knife. It is slimmer and lighter than a regular pen, so you could carry it in the interior pocket of your blazer witout even noticing it. I did not give it 5 stars because it takes some time to get used to open it with the (really small) flipper. I understand that the flipper must be small because of the overall design of the knife, but the Urban Trapper is so light and slim that one must "learn" to open it without the knife slipping from the hand when pushing the flipper,

Nice flipper

I've carried one of these for a year. I put a dab of some very slick gun lube in the hinge ... Once.. that's all it needed. Sharp blade and will stay sharp with a little touch up here and there. Opens VERY easy with a flick of your finger. My only complaint... I've been through 2 belt clip. The clips are not shooting steel and a little soft. If you catch it on something it will bend.
