Atropos screw up
Hi, just got this knife about two weeks ago. Am a dagger fan and was excited about this very affordable pocket dagger. I have other Boker knives and have always appreciated their quality. After carrying this knife for a week, I went to open it and instead of the sharp snappy snick of the blade engagement/lockup I had been hearing, the blade only half opened and with a clink, the thumb disc went sailing off into the ozone. Haven't found it yet. Upon examination, the screw holding the disc to the blade had snapped. Had this happen to another Boker knife I carried years ago. Otherwise, the knife is well designed with a comfortable handle capable of multiple grips. The blade has a nice shape and is a good size for pocket carry and self defense. I actually like this knife and will get another one. Maybe Boker should give up on the disc opening?
