My new favorite kitchen knife

This is one sharp knife and easy to keep it that way . It will make a good camping knife when the season resumes . It takes a few openings to make the lock to set properly so now it works 100% of the time .

Very nice folding chefs knife

This is a great knife if you understand what it is: a folding chefs knife. We will use it for food preparation when hiking and camping. Because it folds, it is safe, no sheath to loose. It works very well, nice cutting and slicing action for food. I weigh it at 170 grams or 6 ounces for those in the USA, Liberia and Burma. The metal work is flawless, the wooden handle shells are a bit below par, a few flaws. Nothing that effects usage, so 4 stars. Very sharp out of the box, recommended!

Great culinary knife

Excellent knife, looks beautiful, feels great in the hand, and cuts well. Only problem is that if you open it too forcefully by, in my case, flipping the blade open, the framelock will get stuck on the far side of the blade. That can be fixed by just taking a key and twisting it in there till it pops back.

Base camp cooks knife

It is now in the cooks box and will stay there. Large enough for all the cutting chores and the blade is perfect. the only problem is the lock is too tall and interferes with the grip

Quite handy.

Uses it a lot in the kitchen, and every now and then cooking outdoors. Works really good, and cuts like it's supposed to. It has quite a big and clunky feel to it, and is heavy, but I like it. The finish is not super, and the lock isn't 100% tight, but since it's just for food I don't worry too much. Closed, the fit could have been a bit better, but what the he*k, it's fun to use while cooking, and for that price it's all that really matters. The only real downside is that my gf keep stealing it all the time :-/
