Incredible knife

This is my favorite carry knife. Every person that has held this knife loves the weight and the feel. I have trained in grappling and in knife/ stick fighting for several years. This weapon is definitely for anyone who may find theirselves in the (possibly unfortunate) guard position during a fight and want a weapon to pierce the intercostal muscles in the rib region, or neck if necessary, and end the fight as quickly as possible. This knife will do it. If you are looking for a factory razor sharp blade, this is not it. Sheath is awesome.

Poor quality control, but a great knife.

I've had mine for about 6 months. It's a great design (probably my favorite fixed blade design), but the quality control for these is complete garbage. After talking to the supplier and having them check several other knives, we decided that they all had the same problems. Scales do not line up with the steel handle and blade profile is comletely jacked up. After completely reprofiling the blade and taking a dremmel to the scales, I have one of my favorite knives. Hopefully they've taken care of these issues. I always carry this knife in the field and it's held up admirably to everything I've thrown its way. Would've been a five, if anyone had looked at this blade prior to it leaving the factory.

Some work required

I use this on my webbing for work, mostly as a utility piece. Out of the box it was blunt and needed a LOT of sharpening just to get it functional. The knife itself is a monster, and I'm still weighing up whether its too big to lug around. On the plus side, it's weight does make chopping tasks quick and easy, and it's not so long as to get in the way when not in use. The curve in the handle makes the draw easier (mine is carried reverse and I wear gloves), however the sheath is badly fitted, to the point I had to file it to even fit the knife properly. The fit is finniky at best, and the blade can seat incorrectly if not stowed carefully. Maybe I got a lemon, but this has steered me away from more expensive boker products due to the craftsmanship. Mine is destined for punishment, so I don't need a display piece, but after all the work needed, had I known I would have gone for something else.
