Impressive showpiece

To be clear, I have not used this as a knife much at all. I have incorporated it into a Renaissance faire outfit, where the patterned metal blade and beautiful handle scales make for a wonderful piece of belt jewelry. It is comfortable to hold and the blade seems well designed, and I am so happy with the price I bought a second. Easy to add a dangler to the sheath.

an attractive gift

I purchased this knife as a gift for my daughter. She specifically wanted a Damascus fixed blade knife for Christmas. The knife is very attractive and the wood handles go very well with the blade. The knife comes with a sheath, which I feel is a must-have for any fixed blade knife. I like that it's an all-leather sheath, as the natural materials complement the steel. The knife has a nice feel to it, and seems to arrive reasonably sharp as new, although I don't have any intention of using this knife before wrapping the gift for next month.

Nice!

Pros - It is a very nice knife, almost feel guilty using it. - Very sharp. - The description says it is a flat grind, but in fact, it comes to a very thin hollow grind. Con - The sheath is a thin leather friction fit, with a belt loop for vertical carry.

*Specific Intended Use*

I needed an inexpensive but attractive addition to a display of mid-range mass produced fixed blades. this one might not be recognized by many and when a guest inquired about it they were surprised that something that looked and felt as good could be had for such short money. I can't comment on it's use as a tool but to display, I'm happy. the sheath is also nice looking and of reasonable quality. I personally, for over 25 years, have had very good experiences with Boker products which is why I didn't hesitate to order this having only seen it on a 15" monitor. other Boker knives I've used as tools, more than 10(?) with no complaints. there's one being shipped to me as I type this.

Great quality, unbelievable price

Picked up this knife on sale for a great price and I'm very impressed. Great blade, great handle, fits my hand perfectly. Takes a razor sharp edge and holds it nicely. Probably the best bargain I've ever picked up from KnifeCenter.

Nice steel and handle

Very nice blade. You could use it functionally or as a part of a nice collection. Came very sharp out of box. Sheath was rather tight fit but will be better with minor use. Recommended. Very nice addition to my collection.
