Excellent workmanship and quality

I purchased this knife just for the history behind the design. I have traveled to Flanders’s Fields and walked in the WWI trenches and paid my respects at Tyncot Military Cemetery and walked on hill 60.

Stunning

The quality, feel and ergonomics of this knife are fantastic. Micarta handle is CNC machined and smooth- the groves in the scales are more than adequate. Out of the box this knife was sharp enough with which to shave. Sheath is adjustable for length on hip with nice hook/loop leg retainer. Owning a Boker AF knife as well- this model is slightly lighter and shorter and feels more flick-able. Made in Soligen- really has meaning in the craftsmanship.
