Was a great price on a large S35vn knife that had a great design. After owning this for 9 months I could not be happier with a knife. It is a great fit and finish, the flip on this bearing knife is outstanding, quick, quiet, smooth as any knife I own. I am open to looking at Bestech for future purchases. This is money well spent

Pleasantly Surprised how well made the Swordfish is!
I have an extensive collection of flipper knives and the the Swordfish is my first Bestech and will not be my last. I do like longer blades and black bladed. The Black 4" Swordfish blade is perfect. Sharp right out of the box I only had to hone the edge for a few minutes and it's definitely Sharp. The look of the knife with the two tone handle stands out from other knives I own. I will carry the Swordfish.

looks and function
Great for EDC - defense as well as utility function. Nice in the hand and has the weight to aid in slicing. Reasonably sharp out of the box (shaves and passes paper test). Price is great for the steel and construction.

Enjoyable Knife!
I love my Swordfish. It hits a sweet spot with this price. Pro's are smooth action, hot knife in butter blade, and an easy feel in the hand. I'm glad that I went with it and haven't handled a knife that feels as good as this one does in the same price bracket. Finish is well above average for sure and to me they put their attention where it matters - comfort and functionality. I use it for daily cutting tasks, mostly packages, letters, and tapes. I confess I avoid more demanding jobs, but that's just because I want to keep it nice.

Long time knifeaholic here. This knife is built extremely well. It is a larger knife but if that's what you want in a folder you can't go wrong here. The flipping action is great, with a nice satisfying thwack. The liner lock is easy to disengage, without even a trace of lock stick. The black and white G10 handle scales are super classy. Blade centering is perfect. I don't get how a Benchmade 940 is 140 bucks and this is only 89. This knife is larger, it has better blade steel, and it looks better. If I had to nitpick, the pivot hardware is not flush with the G10 scales, and the detent is a tad on the stiff side. That's it. I like this knife so much, I ordered another one but with the satin blade. If you are on the fence about this one, just get it. Brother, you will be ready for some serious cutting with that slicey 4 inches of S35VN.

This knife is a winner, smooth operation, great fit and finish, S35VN and an adequate blade length, all for less than a C note, I would recommend this knife very highly. If you love the ZT 452, you will love this knife. The sharpness sucked, but a little ceramic stick and strop fixed it up. Buy one you won't regret it.

A Must Own Knife
When it comes to full size 4"pocket knives, it doesn't get any better than the Bestech Swordfish at this price point. I loved my original tuxedo handle/black blade Swordfish so much I also ordered the OD green and standard green versions with the satin blade. The build quality and sleek design really stands out, and it comes razor sharp from the factory. The handle design is every bit as comfortable as it looks, and the 4" blade is beautiful. Flipping action is spot on. Every time I take this knife out, people want to hold it and know who makes it as soon as they see it. Definitely one of my all time favorite knives. Bestech crushed it with the Swordfish and I strongly recommend, you'll love it. You get so much quality, strength and style for an unbeatable price.

The "Fish"
I have carried/used the Bestech Swordfish since its initial launch a few years ago. This Knifecenter Exclusive is off the charts IMO. My example has perfect f&f, great action and I love that the scales are more chamfered than the general production model as well as PB bearing cages. Don't miss the boat on this FANTASTICALLY valued folder in s35vn. The all black hardware/clip & liners really make this colorway pop. Extremely well done Bestech. "Do it."

Stunning
This is a fantastic knife, and a significant upgrade over the D2 version. It's classy enough to be a gentleman's knife, sturdy enough for hard work, and would be brutally effective in a tactical/self-defense scenario if it came to that. It is a big knife but feels very natural and nimble in the hand. Plus it's a great value: if you've wanted to try s35vn but balked at the price this is a great opportunity. Downside: the white g10 handle does take some color especially from dirt or from blue jeans if you are sweaty. However, I found that you can clean them up easily enough with hand sanitizer and a paper towel. Also the pocket clip can only be right hand tip up and can only be opened by the flipper. Some might not like that but I appreciate it: this knife knows what it's about and doesn't try to be anything else. The polished blade/hardware version is a bit more blingy if you're into that. I like the blacked out version because it's more subtle. If you're on the fence, just go ahead and get one before they're gone!

My first Bestech; it won't be my last!
Though I knew the specs and watched DCA's YouTube presentation of this knife, I still was not prepared for its size! Nor was I prepared for its flawless fit and finish and its functionality: deploys beautifully and it's drop-shutty! S35VN blade and G10 scales on a knife of this size at this price and quality? Gotta be a mistake, right? Wrong! But it's the best deal of the year! My wish is to see KnifeCenter and Bestech follow up with a mini version of this beauty...can't carry this one in THE CITY!

I just bought and received this knife. It is an excellent knife and a great bargain too! Although the specifications show it is what many would consider to be a big knife, due to its excellent design, it is an easy EDC. It fits well in the pocket and the hand. It came with great steel with great fit and finish! Already one of my favorite knives.

I just received the Swordfish last week. Love the look, the feel pretty much everything. The only problem I have is that it has this nasty habit of picking up the dye from my jeans! They maybe recently new, bot have been through the wash a few times. Now I'm trying to get the blue dye off the handle without damaging it, Any suggestions would be appreciated'

So the knife is priced decently especially for what you get, The flipper action is crisp and solid, all and all its a great knife EXCEPT the scales (white section) will pick up any dye from your jeans,(my jeans are 3 yrs old and have had SEVERAL washes) Personally I dig the blue streaks BUT some of you may not be to happy with it, Hence why I rated it a 3...Just want you all to be in the know!
