Great Value

Just received my Dundee in the mail today and I have to say, great first impression build quality is good and I really like the minimalist look of this knife. This is like a “ gentleman’s knife” action out of the box is good. I have heard complaints about the fuller being un usable, but I don’t have much of an issue with that. Out of the box sharpness is more tha adequate. Sub 90 dollars for a knife of this quality in Magnacut is pretty amazing!

Good deal, excellent carry

In many ways this is a fairly non-descript knife that just works. For pocket carry, I like knives that are slim in the pocket and not too heavy, this is perfect for that. Great flipping action, fantastic steel at a great price.

Great knife

Got this as an upgrade to the D2 version (which was already very nice) and I absolutely love this knife, its design is extremely appealing and comfortable to use, and it comes appropriately sharp. For $90, this is an absolute steal. It will hold up to anything you would want a folding knife for and then some.

What a Great Value

I’ve always been reluctant to buy anything new based on hype. Guitars, Amps, knives, it doesn’t matter. I sit back and wait for the smoke to clear. That being said this is my first knife with magnacut steel. What a great blade. I use it to open boxes and then break them down, also to splice wire. It does these tasks effortlessly. I’m a bowler and a coach and just used it to cut down finger grips. No problem. Edge retention seems excellent so far, we will see how it holds up. Magnacut, more than hype! I have my new EDC.

It feels so premium

This knife feels like it costs 3x what they're selling it for. The action, fit and finish, design, comfort in hand, everything is great about this knife, and yet I still want to use it rather than keep it in a drawer because the cost is totally reasonable. The only thing I could ask more of this piece is another way to deploy; this is flipper only, as the fuller isn't usable for opening the blade. I think I'm an Ostap Hel fan now - I always thought his signature squarish index finger notch looked uncomfortable, but I assure you, it feels great.

Excellent (in my Mr. Burns voice)

I grabbed the Dundee looking for a knife with character and confidence—and at this price, it largely delivers. What works: The blade has a sleek, purposeful clip-point profile, and that Magnacut steel quietly promises it can take on whatever task you hand it. The finish is crisp and clean. Action is buttery smooth. The flipper fires with ease on ball bearings, making the knife feel quick and agile. The handle keeps things simple and functional. No gimmicks, just a shape that feels natural across multiple grips. Lightweight in pocket, discreet in carry, with a no-nonsense clip that holds it steady. Bottom line: Not perfect, but the Dundee is a well-executed design from Bestechman and Ostap Hel—equal parts stylish, practical, and dependable.
