It Might be the Perfect Flipper Knife
I purchased this knife for EDC on days I know in advance that I'll be in executive meetings and visiting with customers. It needed to look good. However, I like a practical design that will serve me well when it comes time to use the thing. This knife needed to serve both a utilitarian and self-defense role. Regarding utility, it needed to slice and the M390 blade with it's continuous belly does that very well. The cutting edge is on a different plane than my hand which promotes ease of slicing as well. Regarding self-defense, the shape is akin to a karambit design and the size allows my larger hands good purchase on the handle for hard use. The flipper deployment is easy and quick. No need to have a pricier auto when they make flipper knives like this. Overall, the balance is superb and the knife begs to be handled. It may look like there could be hot spots in the handle but there are none on my knife. In fact, it's incredibly comfortable. Finally, the fit and finish is superb. I could not be more pleased.
