Fantastic Redesign

Buck knocked it out of the park on the redesign of the 112. This knife has become my favorite out of many, and I find myself not rotating it out for others. The build quality is fantastic.

Superb EDC

This 112 is an excellent and easy to carry EDC. Very similar size to the BugOut. Clip feels great in the pocket. Razor sharp from the factory. This knife solves all the problems I have carrying a 110 - too big, too thick, too heavy, no pocket clip.

Everything I wanted!

I always loved the classic buck 112, but I didn’t want to carry it on my belt. This slim version with the pocket clip is perfect. I still have the classic look and feel but I can carry it conveniently in my pocket and it isn’t as bulky with to slim profile. Once I got this knife it immediately became my edc!

Perfection

This item is annoying. It is probably one of the most beautiful objects ever made by human hands. How am I supposed to use and abuse this thing in the normal course? That would be a travesty. I have no choice but to banish it to my desk drawer and occasionally peer at it and think to myself, "perhaps there is hope for humanity."

Great rendition

Awesome addition to the 112 line. I’ve carried the trx for a couple years now everyday and this is a welcome change of pace. If your looking for that “in between” knife, or trying to decide on going old school then this is a sweet blade to stop and try out. I will say after years of thumb studs it’s been frustrating getting used to nail nicks again, first blood came with me thinking I could one hand it open using pressure against the blade. Well it worked long enough to get my pinky finger tip in between the blade and handle then the lockback closed. Sharp knife out of the box and a clean cut heals quick, still carrying it now. You just can’t beat the finish on these beauties.

A great knife if a bit more style over substance

This is a very sharp out of the box, substantial feeling, and nicely finished knife. It’s as comfortable in the hand as knives that look more ergonomic. This knife does everything you’d expect it to as a cutting tool and I like carrying it. I think I will be using two hands to open and close it as it snaps into position. And while the “slim” model is comfortable from a size perspective, it’s surprisingly heavy by current standards. Substantial, but heavy. You will feel this knife in your pocket, not because use of the size but because of the weight. So I wonder if I would enjoy this knife as much if it didn’t have it’s classic looks. I’m have glad to have it, but its not a single knife solution or even an every day carry for me.
