Suprised me

I've been wanting one of these cleaver style flippers for a while. Boy am I impressed with this knife at this price. Smooth, sharp, great balance. This might be the best $20 i spend on anything all year. I don't think I can find anything I don't like about this knife. If you are thinking of getting one, don't think, just get one, you won't regret it at this price.

Great little work knife!

Buck has come up with a great little work knife that is budget friendly and fits the pocket nicely. I liked it so much I bought one for my son who loves it and says all his friends like it as well and want to know where he got it. I told him KnifeCenter is the way to go. I have put mine to some hard use and it has held up well. Highly recommend this knife!

Awesome cleaver

Awesome little folding cleaver. Needs a little encouragement for deployment. I believe after breaking in, it would be smoother.

Nice little knife with a few flaws

This knife is not bad at all for it's price point. The blade came fairly sharp out of the box and the G10 handles have a grippy texture and a nice shape with reversible pocket clip. The grip is a bit small and does not fill the hand as much as I would like. The handle is also a little short for my hand, about three and a half fingers. The blade opens well with the thumb studs, but not as well with the flipper tab. Most flippers I've used have a bit of detent that allows some force to build to flick open the blade, but this knife has none. It will only open about halfway with the flipper tab alone. But give it a wrist flick when you use the tab and it will swing open nicely. I really like Buck as a brand. Their USA made knives are great but this knife is obviously made in China. Nice little work or toolbox knife but not something I would EDC. Still I think it's well worth the asking price.

Good looking but limited

This is an attractive knife good for EDC. I gave it an average rating for a couple of reasons. After lubricating and working back and forth, I could not get this knife to fully open with the flipper, there just isn't enough leverage. I'm not a big man and found the overall size to be small, making it slightly uncomfortable to work with. Larger hands would have a real issue with it. It came out of the box reasonably sharp and it took little effort to make it razor sharp. Use is good for lightweight duty and, like my other Buck knives, it is built well.

EDC

Pros: small carry size. Efficient blade design Cons: flipper doesn’t get it full open, feels a little small in your hand, pocket clip starts too tight Recommend the Gerber over this one.
