Its a nicer knife than you might think, especially at the price

I've had this knife for a few days know and the ball bearing pivot is as smooth as butter. The blade steel is equal to a 440a Stainless which is better than average for an inexpensive steel. The length is perfect and the balance is nice, just behind the pivot. The best thing about this knife is the razor sharp flat grind right out of the box. The carbon content of the steel should make it easy to keep sharp and the only area for improvement would be the carbon fiber G2 handles could be a little grippier.- well done and a nice way to freshen an iconic brand. Its a top 3 choice for an EDC blade as everything else I own is much more tactical and most of those blades scare the crap out of people (as I intend them to)

love the feel of the knife especially when opening it, has helped me in tasks for fishing and everyday things i love the carbon fiber handle actually looks nice after 2/3 years of owning it still looks brand new

Really Nice

Very smooth and fast . Super cool looking with carbon Fiber handle . Only bad thing is you can’t move pocket clip . Great for right front pocket carry . You can carry in left but very very unsafe blade can come out while in pocket . Kinda wonder why Buck did that . Great price . Made in USA . Carbon fiber handle and 7CR SS . I wish there was a 4.5 not being able to move clip bothers me

Common man awesomeness

Absolutely awesome knife the only thing on this knife that isn't top notch and that is the steel. An that's okay we have to sacrifice something for the bearings and the handle material. I have no problem doing that because this thing is smooth as butter.

Great knife!

I was pleasantly surprised by this knife, I purchased at my local outdoor sporting shop. Took the pocket clip off and keep it on my table to fidget with...yes, it's an outstanding fidget knife with drop shut action right out if the package. BUCK has been, and always will be one if my favorite knife companies. Ever.
