WHATS IN A NAME ?
This is a knife that lives up to it's name.The 1095 steel takes abuse, holds an edge, and comes back sharpened to a fine edge with a few draws. Used to chop dig and cut, the only thing I didn't do was remove the scales and lash a pole. The protective finish survived with "worked-in" striations that make this keeper my primary "big blade." The recurve shape of the blade is particularly useful transferring chopping energy and the pushing power of the cutting stroke. This stand alone knife excels in all around chores or companions the other Buck Knives in this series: The 'Hoodlum' and 'Punk'. The sheath is superior quality with a front utility pocket; dual knife handle latches and multiple attach options.

Buck "Thug" Fixed 7 inch knife
Well made knife which arrived very sharp. Knife is well balanced between blade and hilt and holds an edge. Good overall work knife.
