Great, But Not Perfect
The good. Out of the box the knife opens smoothly and comfortably and it is surprisingly light. The Sprint has recessed steel bolsters and unlike the other models the "Ops" version has a reinforced tip similar to that found on the "Buck 891". Overall excellent value!!! The bad. The detent could be stronger allowing for easier opening and stronger retention when closed. The knife can be opened with a firm flip of the wrist with no pressure on the flipper tab, but this is far from a deal breaker. For me personally a thumb stud and reversible pocket clip would be nice as well. The in between. Im not a huge fan of ball bearing knives as they tend to be more sensitive to dirt and grime, I much prefer bronze bushings such as those on a Buck Vantage or Benchamde Griptilian. The overall summary: A great pocket knife for the money!!!
