This is stil a awsome knife but I did notice that by closing the knife with one hand that the blade closes hard and hits the blade stop hard. The blade stop is inside the bottom center of the handle. This causes a small nick at the contact point. So i reshapend the knife and removed the nick and inserted a pice of wine cork to cover the bump. This solution works works great and make the knife easier to open. Still my favorate knife for EDC. Hope this helps

This is the best knife I own, it's American made quality and works so well for any task I throw its way. The S30v blade is crazy sharp and holds an edge forever, handles are very comfortable and strong, pocket clip is a deep carry which I love. I highly recommend this knife.

I love the sleek profile of this knife, which fits my medium-sized hand perfectly. The handle material is beautiful, comfortable in the hand, and grips very well. The pocket clip is damned well perfect. The blade on mine centers perfectly, and it opens readily with the flipper given a modest amount of wrist flick.The liner lock makes the knife easy to close with one hand, and it locks up securely. My only criticism is Buck's black finish on the blade and frame. It mars more easily than most. But it's no big deal - finishes wear off, that's life. And considering the price when I purchased it recently during KnifeCenter's sale on Buck knives, it was a great value. It's one of my favorite knives for EDC.

I love the shape of this blade, it sweeps up and has an awesome belly. The handle scales (g10) are spectacular looking and also very grippy. The clip is a wonderful deep-carry. the only thing I have to knock the knife on is the fact that only recently (probably 500+ opens later) the began to open fully without any wrist flick off the flipper. Other than that, it is fine.

Added to my collection (175+) of folding tacticals. This could easily be your first and last EDC as well. Glad someone figured out there are other colors than just black that can be made into knife handles! Excellent design, ergonomics and construction. Besides all that, it looks great too!

when i first got the knife, i was a bit hesitant. i was just feeling it out, opening and closing it just to make sure i liked the knife before i used it, just in case i wanted to return it. After about a week I found the only thing i didn't like was how far out the lock-bar was intruding into the finger choil. I took a risk and dremmeled it out a bit and now it is perfect. I abuse this knife when I'm camping and at work, I'm always carrying this knife. it just replaced an Al Mar SERE 2000 as my EDC, and i can even see emergency tactical use if need be.

I'm in construction and use my knife for cutting tile, sharpen pencils, cutting tie down straps when the ends are frayed, sleeves off of my shirts , tip to unplug spray nozzles, and countless other things throughout the day. This knife works flawlessly.

grate quality for the price, American build and you can tell who build it is proud of its work. sharpest knife in my small collection. only one issue when knife was new lockup was barely 10% and as result lock sloped out!!! now when its much further in i managed to force lock to slip by hand one time and liner lock seam to warp a tiny bit when you try force blade when lock engaged grate in pocket, very nice handle layered black & blue G10 high end S30V & Boss heat treated. not suitable for lefties! overall high quality build & materials for that price is a definite high value despite it's somewhat questionable lock.

I'm a truck driver so I cut seals,shrinkwrap, cardboard you name it the fit & finish is good the G-10 scales are a bit tuff on the inside of the pocket seam but other than that the steel holds a great edge oh can't forget the cool factor
