awesome' i mean what more could describe this knife,

I've purchased many folding hunting knives over the years and this Buck 112 just seems to hit the balls eye as the perfect general purpose all rounder. Its very solid and screams 100% quality as soon as you handle it. It's compact enough to carry in your pocket, The blade being only slightly shorter than the Buck 110 is in fact much stronger and more rigid and less likely to snap the blade tip off when being used in a levering situation. If i had one gripe on this knife, it is that i wished Buck would bring out an optional S30V version blade for the 112 model. I am not saying Bucks 420HC steel is not up to the task because it is a very fine strong steel, But i ask my self why send one of your finest foot soldiers out to war with a 420HC shield when you could send him out with shield made with the finest S30V steel.

Buck Ranger 122

If I could only have one knife it would be the Buck 112 ranger with finger groves, hands down. Great knife made by a great company If you can get in a auto it’s a bonus.

Fine Classic Pocket Knife

Nicely made, sturdy, classic folding pocket knife I like that it locks It came with a sheath. I guess I didn't read the description closely enough as I ordered one as well. Now I have a spare. Knife was shipped promptly, well packaged and at a fair price. Overall I as pleased with this purchase.

Awesome classic with a twist(FG)

This knife is simply great. While the wood and brass handle is hefty, it this case it is desired and the weight does feel good in hand. It is world's apart from a little spiderco delica with it's little 2 ounce of flimsy plastic ;) The only thing the 112 could envy it is the supersteel, I wished buck would offer the option of S30V, or 154CM, on more of their knives, other then that, this knife is perfect and will surely last me years until I pass it on to my son!

A beautiful knife!

It's too beautiful a knife to use as an everyday work pocket knife. It is a worthy smaller brother to the larger 110 [?]. It's the kind of knife I carry it when I get dressed up and go out to eat. I often use it as a my own personal steak knife ;-) The quality of workmanship shows little room for error. It's a classic knife. I just have to get a good stone to keep it razor sharp.

Best bang for the buck is Buck

Used on a fishing boat and chores around the house. I've carried a knife since I was 6. I'm 60 - and this is the best, but not most expensive, knife I've ever had. At 5'6", my hands take a medium glove. The Finger Grooved 112 fits my hands perfectly - great for when they are wet to prevent slipping. Quality and value are superior. Only con - it looks so great, I don't want to get it scratched up - so I use the sheath that came with the knife. After oiling, the sheath loosened up. Important to me: the knife is made in the USA - or I would not have purchased it. (Sheath is from Mexico).

A classic

I got this knife about 2 years ago, I carry it when I want a heavy-duty locking knife. Mine came with a super nice black leather sheath. I don't use the sheath, instead I just throw it in my pocket. It's a bit heavy/clunky carrying it that way, but isn't to bad. The weight, heft and balance is great. When you hold it you can tell its made like a tank. Buy one and it'll last you for years. Even if it doesn't buck has great customer service and a lifetime warranty. You can even send the knife back to them so they can sharpen it and clean it up for you for a small charge. Gotta love Buck.

High quality materials and workmanship. Love the finger grip design, great looker, sharp and clean edges all around. Could not be happier with this knife. Carry it in my pocket during office hours and use the belt case on weekends.

Buck 112 finger groove,

I wanted a classic folding knife for when we go camping here in the UK and thats what i got, basically a good weighted, good looking and very sharp timeless piece, exactly what i was looking for. Great service from the knife center now looking for a birthday present for my dad .

So so

I requested KC inspect this knife for quality. It came and was a very beautiful knife. Then i noticed the edge up by the tip was flat. Seems when they sharped it at factory they musta bumpd it on a grinder. All in all its to cheap to complain and try to send back. Im gona try to fix it with my sharpener. I wish KC would inspect their knives or at least spend more time doing so.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great knife; it's just very overpriced. Buck makes good knives they're durable and relativley inexpensive, but this doesnt fit that bill. The blade material is awful for the price, its well constructed but not worth the price. I do like this knife but if you are going to be using it put your money towards a knife with a better steel and that warrants spending $50. I'd reccomend spyderco delica!
