Finally, she tried them.
I bought this set for my mom and dad a few years ago. My dad is a former butcher so he's a knife snob. He didn't even bother trying these out and we lost him a couple years ago. I had also given a set to my sister in Florida. It took my sister visiting from Florida to take them out of the drawer and use them in front of my mom before mom actually used them. Now, at least one is in the everyday use area of the kitchen. (Of course, mom would never tell me that.) So, the fact that these are so lightweight, well balanced and slim makes them so very useful. I have a large one here at home set aside just for slicing baby loaves of cheese. If you are even contemplating, just get them. Then discover how useful they really are. I only wish they were available in Walnut again.
