Great knife

This is the best paring knife I have ever used. I find the length of the blade, edge holding, the shape and balance combine to maximize usefulness for my purposes. Great knife. Great company.

Best knife ever!

My mother gave me two Chicago paring knives many years ago. It's the first knife either I or my husband would grab. One knife came up missing and I fear it got thrown out accidentally in some peelings. Now with only one knife, we kept fighting over who got to use "the knife". My hands are small and this knife fits so well. I can use it to peel a bushel of apples without my hands cramping. This is also the knife my husband prefers because it's so easy to use. This is just the best knife ever!

Same easy to hold knife now being used with my grandmothers Chicago

use in kitchen. Does what it is design to do. Pretty much the same as my grandmothers that I still happily use.

Not the Same

I purchased the knife to replace one I somehow lost last fall. I expected the same quality knife as when I purchased my original Chicago Cutlery knives years ago. I was sadly mistaken. The steel in the blade and the quality of the craftsmanship compared to my original set is very poor. I'm pretty sure I will never purchase a Chicago knife again.
