Very dull Case Barlow - Extremely Disappointed with USA Made Case

I collect knives, everywhere from very cheap Rough Ryders to expensive Spyderco knives. My one expectation of all my fixed and folding knives that I purchase is that they are able to fulfill their number one purpose out of the box, which is to cut. This USA made Case Barlow utterly failed the paper cutting test and is the dullest knife I've ever purchased. At the same time I got this knife in the mail, I also received a Cold Steel Ranch Boss III and a Old Timer 8OT Senior from another seller. The Cold Steel Ranch Boss cost 40 percent of the price of the Case Barlow, while the Old Timer Senior was less than one fourth the price of the Case Barlow. All three blades on both much cheaper Made in China stockman's cut through paper and cardstock like razors, while the Case Barlow was barely able to make even a knick in the paper and cardstock..I then pulled out one of my very cheap $16 Rough Ryder stockmans, and it also had zero problem cutting magazine paper and cardstock with all three blades. When I hear people scream, buy American made knives to support American businesses, I can't do so unless they deserve it. This will probably be the last Case knife I ever purchase.
