MY CASE XX 6347 amber bone handles stockman with surgical stainless

In November 2021 I bought a brand new case xx 6347 amber bone handles stockman with surgical stainless steel blades 2019 production model from my local apex tru value hardware store in Marietta Ohio and actually paid 64.00 with tax and it’s been a very good knife and carry it as a work knife and when camping constantly all the time from April till November. Didn’t use it much over the winter and have used it a few times now but not enough yet to actually sharpen it with a stone. I actually can’t wait to see how it actually sharpens compared to my case xx amber bone handles medium stockman 63032-079 with chrome vanadium steel blades and see how much difference their is between sharpening the two different types of steel.

Case 6347.

I bought my case xx amber bone handles stockman with surgical stainless steel blades 6347 in November 2021 and it’s actually been a really good knife and I really enjoy carrying it all the time everyday and using it. I really like the overall quality of the knife and the steel blades and the fact that it’s made right in Bradford Pennsylvania.

Great classic knife

This is my 3rd 6347. I gifted my other 2 to loved ones but needed another because it fits my hand so well. Really nice construction with no loose seams or blade wobble. This is my favorite whittling knife as I use all three blades. Makes for a good edc too.

My new case xx 6347 stockman amber bone handles surgical stainless

On Wednesday November 3 2021 I went to my local apex tru value hardware store in Marietta Ohio as they are a local case knives dealership and bought a case xx 6347 stockman with amber bone handles and surgical stainless steel blades 2019 production model they didn’t have one in the original box with papers so I ended up buying the one that was in the case knives glass front display cabinet for 64.00 with tax and I’ve been carrying it since then but really haven’t had a chance to use it yet for much of anything yet but can’t wait to use it so that when it comes time I can get it on a stone and see how it sharpens compare to my case xx 63032 amber bone handles and chrome vanadium steel blades produced in 2016. And the chrome vanadium steel blades will definitely get razor sharp and hold a edge really well I am hoping that I have the same exact results with the tru sharp surgical stainless steel blade in my new case stockman 6347 amber bone handles and surgical stainless steel blades.

Case xx amber bone 6347 stockman

In about a week on November 3, 2022 I’ve had my case xx 6347 amber bone handle stockman with surgical stainless steel blades a year at that time and carried it after buying it new 11/3/2021 and brought it with me to my camper in April and have carried it a good while and use it when I have to. And actually the other day I had to finally sharpen it for the very first time and it was still fairly sharp I used the fine side of a stone and got it back to being good and sharp. The surgical steel is actually easy to sharpen as long as you keep it touched up with a stone about every couple weeks that’s how I sharpen any knife I have that way they are always sharp and ready to use when needed I’ve used it opening boxes and cutting them to start a camp fire and it hardly made it dull. I also carry a chrome vanadium steel case knife sometimes as well a case 6375 amber bone handle stockman case knives are my favorite and it’s what my grandpa always carried I have his put up and bought one exactly like it so I would definitely not lose his from 1978.

Awesome craftsmanship! Fast shipping!

I use this Case Stockman folding knife everyday for many chores around the house and everywhere I go. I even take it with me to more formal meetings etc., because I never know when I'll be needing it next. This one is a workhorse and I've always been impressed with the quality of Case brand knives. The temper of the steel is just right and the blades are most functional. A working knife for sure!

CASE XX 6347 stockman

Bought my case xx 6347 amber bone handles stockman in November 2021 and wanted one with the surgical stainless steel blades that way I can see the difference in sharpening versus my case 63032-079 amber bone handles medium stockman with chrome vanadium steel blades. I honestly like them both really well. And I can get the surgical stainless steel blades just as sharp as my chrome vanadium steel blades I use my knife for a little bit of everything from opening boxes to cutting them up to start a fire.

I'm a Case fan for life

I bought two Case knives (so far) and I am beyond impressed by the quality. This is a beautiful knife. I'm torn between using it for daily tasks and displaying it on a shelf.

Beautiful Knife

Excellent quality craftsmanship and quality materials definitely worth the money plus its MADE IN AMERICA. I wish more products were made in the USA especially clothes. My knife is awesome the attention to detail is amazing on one small little tiny nick in one of the blades but to me that gives it character and a sure sign that it was made by hand and not a machine. I enjoy my knife and hope you do too. You can't go wrong with a CASE so spend the extra money and get a good quality knife that you can be proud of.

Knife was probably a second as the sheeps foot blade was bent on tip

I am an electrician and use the knife everday. I use the sheeps foot blade to strip wire thats how I noticed the blade had been bent. Other wise the knife is good.Blades are tight, opens good, shaprens good.

Don't like it

This is the only three spring stockman patters that Case makes as far as I know . Mine has a really gritty feel especially in the clip point and the sheeps foot blades . None of my two spring Stockmans exhibit this . I can only assume that the three spring design is the culprit . Case should go back to the two spring design on this model and stop being so lazy about crinking the blades .
