Great small game or child's first knife

I bought this knife for my 9 yr old grandson. It is a great size for a child's first knife. It also is an excellent size for dressing small game. It looks classic, except for the sheath which is new, but really cool and works well. OTOH, this was the first Case knife that I have purchased that had a wire edge. They usually come perfectly sharp, but this one required some work with an Arkansas stone to get rid of the wire edge and get it sharp. My grandson and I are both pleased.

Classic Small Game Knife

It is a very small fixed blade with a good leather sheath. This is a great knife for panfish, bass, etc , squirrels and rabbits. Also makes for a great portable EDC last ditch knife. Very sharp out of the box. It's sort of like having a small folding pocket knife with you but is a small fixed blade. Fit and finish is excellent. I may put a lanyard on the sheath and wear it like a scandi neck knife.

This is a good one!

This is another excellent knife for EDC if you don't want to have to dig into your pocket to retrieve it! Top quality craftsmanship and small enough to not to be intimidating being carried on a belt.

Very nice and VERY small

I wanted a knife like the Boker AirForce Pilot Survival but made in USA, so without checking anything else I purchased this knife. The picture is great, the knife is great but is 6 1/2" overall not the 8 3/8" from the boker and it's a big difference. The handle is very very small, I will use it more like a miniature letter opener than something else, use it for self defence when need of a very small concealed knife or give it to a child.

Elegant and small

I really should not knock off a star on such a beautifully crafted knife simply because it is smaller than expected. The sheath alone is a gorgeous piece of work. The knife could certainly be useful if you hunt pigeons or something similar. Or, like others mentioned, it could be a gift for a growing child just ready for a first knife. But geez, this thing is diminutive. The blade length is 3 1/8 as advertised, but sliver thin. It's a drawer piece for me.
