Hey, it's under $15. What can I say. I came hair shaving sharp and it's light, plus it's got a lifetime warranty that Case actually stands behind. What more do you need in a $15 knife?

Better than expected.
Very thin pocket knife. Surprisingly better than what I expected to get when I bought this knife. Handle is basic plastic, but very well-shaped. Clearly based on the Gerber LST, but with better checkering. Small and capable for a variety of day-to-day mundane chores. Camo pattern looks nice. Ideal as a clip-less EDC pocket knife. Or, toss this into a small wilderness survival kit. Far better than those Made in Pakistan tiny Buck 110 rip-offs sometimes included in commercial small survival kits. (Just be sure to place a brightly colored lanyard on it, or it'll vanish on the forest floor if dropped in the closed position.)

Light Steel
Using this knife at work for over 3 years and the blade is nearly halfway gone. It won't hold an edge very long - maybe a week at a time from general duties(not cardboard or paper-cutting). If you've owned the Buck equivalent, this one isn't any better. It's gotten where there isn't a positive lock-up anymore either. I've trimmed a lot of data, coax, & similar cabling with this knife and I feel I got my money's worth out of it; don't get me wrong, but after switching to a Spyderco Grasshopper I definitely see the difference in the steel. And that's what it all comes down to - good steel. It is a VERY light carry: double +. Nice size & good looking; feels good in the hand. I think that if you pushed very hard with it laterally(against the pivot point) it would readily break. That wouldn't come up normally, it's just that Zytel isn't that strong. All in all, just a light duty knife.
