New Case Crossroads
I read mix reviews concerning this knife….but being intrigued by the design and S35VN steel, I decided to get one. I love the looks and super light weight. My main issue with the knife is the quality control at Case. I was disappointed to find a rough uneven grind on the blade, sharp edges on the ends of the handle and a visible wave in the back spring. I swear this knife was made on a Friday at 4:45pm. This was not a big deal to me as I like to tinker with knives. I put about an hour into some diamond stone sharpening, stropping, and sanding the sharp edges. Now the knife is ready to go. I prefer to buy American made products and I expect to pay more for that product….but it better be perfect if the price is premium. Case better up their game….Vosteed, Civivi, and Kizer are way ahead on qualiity control.
