You can slice tomato into 1/8" slices like clockwork with this knife. Can't beat Case quality. Have not had to sharpen this knife.

Case XX Tomato Slicer

This knife is unique due to it's thin serrated and flexible 5.5" blade. As you know tomatoes can be tricky to slice if they are not green to firm. This knife is the answer to the challenge. My wife and I garden and grow many of our own vegetables including tomatoes. I look forward to our next crop and the work this knife will perform. I will return to The Knife Center to check for other speciality Case XX Stainless Steel knife designs in the future. Excellent service!

we use this to slice tomatoes the blade is sharp and stays straight
