It is what it is. The other reviewer only gave this beautiful knife three stars....? No, it's not a tactical knife. It's not made to take out guerillas in the Colombian jungles. It's a gentleman's knife. It's made to cut rope, open bags and packages, IMO. It's a great knife for it's intended purpose.

great knife

First off I collect knives but I carry them too. I buy knives to use and I switch up every so often. I have a couple case knives. This one I love the color and feel. Like my other case knife the blades are razor sharp right out of the box and stay sharp for a long time. They are one of the sharpest knives right out of the box. Great knife for everyday normal use. I like having 3 different blades to use. I will be buying more case knives in the future.

Beauty you carry in your pocket & can use to cut or scrape with. It's the perfect size. It fits the hand or pocket so nicely that you only are aware of its' presence when you need to use it!

Old school quality

This is a really great knife. I bought it for whittling and edc. It works great for both. Sharp as a razor, and really tough. This knife will stand up to hard work. And, the pocket worn handle won't leave your hand sore. 4 stars only because there is a fair amount of blade rub right out of the box. Quite normal for a stockman, but could be improved. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

collect it, just don't use it.

I bought this knife just so I could say I owned at least one Case product. The blades are sharp, well polished and the knife has a very good overall finish. However, the blades are very thin and I wouldn't put it to any hard use...I don't think the knife is intended to be used that way, really. I am much more a fan of the modern tactical knives for EDC.
