Excellent Product

This knife came very sharp out of the box. I am very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the knife. I like the classic look and feel of this well made knife. The sheepsfoot blade come in very handy when opening packages and other tasks that a round end blade can only perform.

Exactly as ordered!

Bought it as a replacement to my favorite. Lost favorite at airport to the TSA. I just forgot to take it out of my pocket before going to the airport. Now someone will be able to buy my old one at auction for 50 cents.

The Stockman Rocks

This is the third Case knife I have purchased from the Knife Center within the past few months. I am partial to Case as they are handmade in my home state of Pennsylvania and they are USA made. This is my favorite Case hands down. When I first unpacked the knife I thought it was defective because the center blade, the sheep’s foot, stuck out so high from the closed knife. In reality, that is how the knife is made and I have come to love the sheep’s foot blade. I always thought the sheep’s foot was too small to be practical but once I started using the blade it became my go to for almost all tasks. Plus, with the high profile of the sheep’s foot, it is easy to grab and open a nice feature when your hands are cold. The stockman is now my carry pocket knife. It is the perfect weight and size and has plenty of cutting power for a pocket knife. I highly recommend all Case products as they are handmade in the USA and the practically and quality are second to none. I especially recommend this stockman.

a great all around knife

This is my everyday carry knife, suited to just about all cutting tasks that arise. The handle is large enough to get a good grip on, but no so bit that it feels like somebody parked a Buick in my pocket. Sturdy, reliable, USA made, and this baby holds an edge!

Fit and Finish only ok

Overall I love the knife, and it looks great...except there’s a gap between two of the plates and it really makes the knife look lopsided. All the other parts of the knife fit like jewelry just one side has a gap! Materials are all very nice, I’d buy another one, and honestly I wouldn’t think twice about it, just a little jarring seeing it come out of the box goofed up!

I was unimpressed with the fit/finish of the yellow handle on one side. There is a noticlble gap. On a general use pocket knife I suppose it isn't that big of a deal but still dissapointing.
