I've been collecting (and using) knives for over fifty years, always on the lookout for that "special knife" which blends camping and bush crafting capabilities together with exceptional manufacturing characteristics. Browsing through the Knife Center's tantalizing website recently, I discovered this Casstrom knife. The curly birch handle stuck out and grabbed my attention. Worth purchasing to see in person. The scandi ground blade is sufficiently heavy with a shape that I find very useful for a wilderness companion. While sampling its whittling and carving abilities with the comfortable handle shape, I feel confident that this knife will accompany me in my next venture into the forest wilderness, knowing I have a trusty friend from Sweden to serve me well. Another win win from the Knife Center. Give this knife a home and I think you'll agree.
