Good mug soap

Purchased on a whim, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. The smell is aromatic and it lathered well with a light amount of water loaded in the boar bristle brush. It gives a slick sheen on the skin that makes the de razor (Futur with dovo blades) slide effortlessly thru my facial hair of two days growth. Definitely a soap I will put in my rotation of use.

The glycerine soaps are really good. They keep my face from drying out and smell good,too. (The ladies seem to like it)

Smells great

This is my second Col. Conks shave soap, and it smells just as nice as the other one (Almond). Lasts a long time, lathers up easily. Excellent price for such a good shave soap.

How good could a $4 soap be?

A: Surprisingly. I got this to round out a purchase of other shave soaps including the Kent and the Pre De Provence and am accustomed to spending as much as $60 for a good soap. This was pretty much just a silly afterthought and I figured I'd toss it in my travel bag as the soap I wouldn't miss if TSA screeners decided they thought it looked suspicious. Wow was I surprised. It lubricates surprisingly well, builds a lather quickly, and leaves a pleasant and light aroma. The Kent will still probably be my every day shave, but this product has me looking forward to my next trip.

Great soap for the price

This soap works up a good lather in short order. The fragrance is pleasant and it provides a nice slick shave. The only minor complaint that I have is that it drys a little quicker than my other soaps when applied, not a concern for many but I shave my head as well as my face so the product sits on my skin longer. This comes in plastic packaging and makes a great travel soap.
