Ah so here it is. I mixed a lather of suds and applied to my face and then noticed a strong odor coming from my face. Turns out brush probally was not sanitized so I soaked it in vinegar then oxyclean which did not work so I stood at the sink and just worked the bristles into the soap then rinsed it out. After around 40 minutes the brush smelled great and not like a wet badger. Great soft brush now. Glad I did not go outside and get shot by someone whom might of thought that I was a badger on the loose.
