great dirk.

I bought this dirk for reenacting and find it in all ways adequite for that purpose. This is a truly well made knife that will hold a decent edge.My only complaint is that the sheath has no metal chape or foot and the point of the blade is like a needle. I would suggest wrapping brass sheet around the foot of the scabbard for safty reasons, especially if the dirk is carried next to the groin!

High quality construction

This Dirk is a good example of the quality products Cas Hanwei can produce. The blade has a wicked point though the edge is completely blunt. So extensive sharpening will be required if that's you're desire.
