The cross guard isn't quite what I expected. The image is accurate for its perspective but I think I was expecting something a bit more substantial. Blade was shipped sharp. Scabbard is of acceptable quality. Sword itself is well balanced and sturdy. Pomel is suitable for a offhand grasp, but the hilt is quite large enough for a full two-handed grip. In short, its a great piece!
