The Stylish Dagger
The RS71 Dagger from CIVVI is an exception that says all daggers should be fixed blade knives. This four bladed knife is wide enough to allow for useful cutting and narrows down to a fine dagger point with a false edge on the upper portion of the blade. The action is smooth and the blade generally clicks assertively into position. My could use a little more breaking in an possibly a drop of oil to insure that it always opens fully. Indeed my only real problem with this knife is mostly aesthetic, I don't like the Ivory/Black handle offering. It kind of makes it look like a cheaper blade than it really is. The other two offerings of this blade have either an olive green or black handle with blackened blades. Black blades immediately scream tactical and that says "backyard commando" to me, a connotation I don't want. If satin version of this blade had been offered with the black handle, it would have been perfect. Despite this, the RS71 is a fine addition to any knife collection.

Better than it should be
Great ergo's, easy to flick, fun to look at & play with. You do know this is a toy, right. This has a real "Charles Bronson" vibe but it's really a pussycat. Easy flipping, great ergos & that "Bad Boy" styling we all love for so little $$. Nice steel for the $$ & a nice feel in the hand. Just buy it. You will not regret it if this speaks to you.

Civivi RS71 dagger
Okay, under $100 and quality throughout for the money. pocketclip is a pain to get into a jean pocket. Couple drops of slick-um and it is glass smooth as far as action. I feel it is limited in applications, and I won't get a second, but definitely a keeper for my collction.
