Very happy with slipjoint version of Baby Banter
Baby Banter's are amongst my favorite knives in my knife colleciton and I now own 7 of them in four different versions, the regular liner lock, the fixed blade (huge disappointment), the crossbar lock and now this slipjoint version. I am a huge fan of this Civivi model for both its size and utilitarian factor. This model fits great in my medium sized female hand and are easy to deploy and use with the exception of the fixed blade version. I was attracted to this latest version this Baby Banter not only because of the 'burple' colored handles but because it was slipjoint, which I could take overseas. I own over 300 slipjoints and I think there are only a couple of others I deploy with a thumb stud but this one has the added bonus of ease of opening with the thumb stud or just pulling it out by hand (unlike many slipjoints that are fingernail breakers). I also love the half stop opening of this knife, which has a very satisfying feel. All in all I highly recommend this small pocket knife for anyone who loves the Baby Banter, the color 'burple', a thumb stud deploying slipjoint, and/or a very well crafted and affordable slipjoint. Heck, most Case Cutlery knives don't cost as little as this knife.
