Great Action

The action is perfect! Very smooth! The presentation was impressive for this price point (zippier pouch, cleaning cloth and decals)

Excellent Knife!

Beautiful Black with blue liners! Fits very well in my XXL hands, sharp as a razor from the factory. Flipping mechanism is smooth and consistent every time. Finger choil and gimping are excellent when you need to choke up for finer tasks. Even comes with a nice case & microfiber cloth! Buy it!

Non Damascus version is just as great as Damascus version

I just wrote a review for the Damascus version, and because I bought BOTH, I felt I should comment on this one as well, since there are a couple slight differences. The 9cr18mov steel in this blade is perfectly good steel, and holds up well to use and sharpening. I bought this version because I was reluctant to use/abuse/lose the damascus knife! From a practical perspective, I would stay away from Damascus unless you are collecting for artistic beauty. I thought I'd be more willing to carry a good Damascus blade around, but I'm not. I want to keep them safe and treasure them. This version is perfect in sharpness, function, feel in hand, and in price. I love every CIVIVI knife I've purchased, but I strongly urge people to buy the non-damascus if they're undecided. Either way, you will not regret the purchase.

Blue liners

All in all it's a decent EDC for the money . My only complaint is the blue coloring on the liners chips off fairly easy.

miserable company

After minimal use and zero sharpening my baklash developed a loose blade and rattle. I attempted to contact civivi. Multiple times. No response. I then attempted to tighten the pivot. The entire pivot spins. Won't tighten or loosen. Worthless knife. Miserable company.
