Form Over Function, But That's OK

A really cool, industrial/military design that could use a few functional improvements. One; the key chain attachment should be on the sleeve, not the tweezers. I can't imagine doing a delicate, tweezer-necessary task with all of my keys in my hands. These will live in my pocket, loose, rather than attached to my keychain. A less than ideal solution. Two; there should be a bit of tension in the tweezer arms so that when they're deployed they could open a bit more. The distance between the tips is very narrow; they could be bent apart while still collapsing into the square part. Still, neat design, looks cool and is quite accessible (it is easy to screw and unscrew the holder with one hand while deploying or hiding the tweezers). But if they improved those other nitpicks (is that a pun?) these would be some great tweezers.

Great Idea & Size

I like the size and design of the tweezers. The point is good for splinters I think. As per other reviews it is difficult to try to pull a hair out because they are so pointy the tweezers. But it's good for a medical/emergency kit or bugout bag.

5 star design, 1 star function.

Very neat industrial design and well made but almost useless as tweezers. If you look at any pair of tweezers, even super fine "needle point" splinter tweezers, you will see the jaws will come together on two flat surfaces, even if those flat surfaces are tiny. These come together in two needle-like points. The result is you are trying to use two needle points to pick up something. Sure, you can grab something big, but think about how impossible it would be to pick out a tiny splinter if you had to catch it between two needle points. When I first got these I tried to pull a hair from my arm just to test -- nearly impossible! Do not buy these if you want functional splinter tweezers, you will be disappointed.

Great look, poor function

I think this is a great looking tweezer but it just doesn't work. It is next to impossible to actually catch anything at all between the tips. I tried it for splinters and to remove hairs from a wound but it just doesn't work. You might be able to catch larger objects with it but that's what we have fingernails for. Civivi is a great company that makes high quality products but, in my opinion, they came up short on this one.
