Great EDC

This is one of my favorite EDC knives. Fits in the pocket well. Very easy to deploy the blade. The brown almost has a wood grain look to it. The blade was very sharp out of the box.

Beastly

First, I was surprised at the weight of the knife, perfect for me because I like a knife with meat. Super easy deployment as the studs provide a nice perch for my thumb. The blade is sharp and so far it plows through everything. This is my primary EDC and I love it. Side note, I haven’t adjusted nor oiled this blade since I got it.

Big disappointment; This knife is junk.

Two months ago, just two days after I ordered this knife it went on 'manufacturers delay". Finally after a two month wait I happily received the knife only to be amazed at the poor construction, The ergonomics are terrible. The contours around the handle provide such a thin waist that it is impossible to place my thumb into position at the stud. If at any angle I get a push angle on the stud, regardless of how much pressure I can manage on the stud, it will not open the blade. I have applied first some rem oil which did not help.. I cleaned out the Rem and applied some Break Free CLP. LIke wise this could not loosen up the blade/pivot. The only way I can get the blade open is to hold the knife, blade side up in my left hand and with full effort pull the blade out with my right hand. Because my average size hand is so much bigger than the length of the knife I have twice nicked my left hand when the blade finally popped out. I own and use two other thumb stud knives which perform flawlessly with great ergos. They are a Ontario Rat 1 and Utilitac. both of these knives cost less than this Feldspar and are greatly superior to the Feldspar. I will keep this new CLRB in an open position and use it as a fixed blade kitchen knife which is not what I paid for or wanted. This Feldspar can never be used as an edc. Avoid this beast. Save yourself the aggravation..
