CJRB Cutlery Feldspar Folding Knife 3.5" Stonewashed Drop Point Blade, Contoured CNC Machined Translucent Green G10 Handles (3 reviews)
I've carried this little dynamo for the last three weeks. I've cut open boxes, trimmed fingernails, and opened dozens of envelopes. It still shaved hair nicely. Then, last week, I trimmed an ancient carpet pad, full of grit and dirt and the knife wouldn't shave well after cutting fifteen feet of that. So, I pulled it through a sharpener a few times and it shaved well again, slicked up the edge on some cardboard (yes cardboard. Jerry Fisk taught me that decades ago) and she's razor sharp once more. You can buy more stain resistant steel than D2 but not any that holds an edge or re sharpens any better. The knife opens and closes well, but you have to keep the holding fingers clear or it will prevent the blade from opening. Pocket clip is excellent. Fit and finish are six out of ten, ten being custom quality. For the price how you gonna beat this little knife? It's the GIFT he'll use, ladies.

I picked this up on sale because I wanted a D2 blade. To my surprise this inexpensive knife has the blade centered and has smooth opening as well. I also appreciate the pocket clip engages easily but holds fast. I have only owned it a few weeks but it looks like a keeper.
