Heavy Duty, simple precision construction at a good price
Heavy Duty, simple precision construction and a whole lot of knife for a little bit of loot. What sparked my interest in this knife was the locking system. I am no fan of liner locks and having some made me less of a fan. They work however; I prefer other types over them. Back lock systems are stronger and a little less handy. Benchmade Axis Locks are popular. But long ago Gerber patented a Bolt action system in 1983. I have two and they are just as light and strong as ones made today and were made in the USA. I believe this knife is special because of the locking system it uses. I don’t like blades with holes and the fewer things on the blade the better; opening studs included. This is a big sturdy knife and fits my liking points. For the price and features it is hard to find any complaints. I don’t play with knives; I use them, and this one is a user.
