A Larger Pyrite? 'Nuff said!
I also own the smaller version of this knife. It's exactly what you expect. Take the pyrite, add about 35% more material and dimensions, and you've got this one! The Pyrite leaf blade shape is my favorite. I own all kinds, clip points, drop points, whalesharks, daggers, tantos, you get it. This leaf is dope. Some differences from the smaller model I've noticed: It's a bit harder to thumb flick due to the geometry differences of the overall construction while the thumb stud size remained largely the same. It's fall shut. Like my little pyrite wouldn't fall shut due to the weight of the blade being so light. This thing FALLS shut. Like 0 resistance until detent. Who is this for? This knife is for the guy that wants a useable knife that you don't have to worry about. Packaging gunk? No problem! Worried that cardboard is gonna dull your edge? Who cares! Sharpen it, and if you can't/don't want to. At this price? Buy another one! The RPM-9 steel had a hair popping edge, some of you probably find that hard to believe but yeah...it did. My little one didn't but I guess that one was a Friday factory edition.
