I pick this knife up out of the drawer a few weeks ago after it had languished there since it's purchased some months ago. I have really enjoyed carrying this. Despite the slickness of the carbon fiber, it feels secure in my hand. It was quite sharp and got more so after getting up close and personal with my Spyderco Sharp maker. The front flipper had a bit of a learning curve to it, but now it opens nearly all the time. The button lock is great and the blade swings wily when not locked up or down. This is a great knife and for the price I can highly recommend it.

Surprising New Favorite
This knife is my new favorite in my little collection. The action on this knife is so smooth. I can just sit there and play with it all day. The front flipper is quite comfortable and easy to get used to. The thumb hole is also a great shape. I personally use my index finger to flick the blade open sometimes. The button lock works very well you can use it for opening the blade. The knife gives you many options for how to deploy the blade which I enjoy. The blade steel has held up very well after almost two months of edc. I've touched up the blade on a honing rod and it's maintained a constant paper cutting edge. The handles are beautiful pieces of carbon fiber, textured just enough for a good grip. The only potential problem that I have seen is that the pocket clip is not as tight as it used to be. This isn't a problem for me at all, it makes it easier to deploy the knife, but it's worth noting. That all being said, coming in at a price of under $60, it's a no brainer. I love this knife, you will too.

Massively Exceeded Expectations
At this price point I expected a solid but uninspiring product - but the Ekko with carbon fiber scales has MASSIVELY exceeded my expectations! The detent is perfectly weighted; the button lock is as smooth as any I’ve ever experienced at any price point (!); the carbon fiber scales are actually beautifully smooth and finished; the AR-RPM9 blade actually (so far) has proven to be more than adequate! The knife arrived very sharp and the blade sharpens admirably. It is very fidgety, helped by the excellent combination of the detent and lock-action. Given the design, engineering and finish, if this knife came with titanium liners and a M390 / CPM20V or Magnacut blade it would easily sell for $300 - $400 - and be good value at that price point. As it is it is extremely good value - highly recommended.
