Very Surprised!
This knife has great ergonomics, slim and slicey. The Ekko can easily compete with knifes in the $150-200 range. Amazing value amd imo beats out the pyrite.

Great for fidgeting
Front flippers don't get a lot of love, but in my opinion, they are great because they give you so many ways to open (index finger from the side, or your thumb, or index finger over the top). Plus with the cut out, you can reverse (spidey) flick easily or do a traditional thumb flick (although this is my least favorite way because the hole is a bit too narrow). Then of course you can always deploy it with the button. Given the ceramic bearings it will often fall open on its own. Love the titanium and micarta although compared to others in this size, it feels a bit wide and thin. This one stays at my desk just for playing around with.

Fun to Fidget, Decent Vaue
I experienced some lock stick, but it dissipated fairly well. After a dissasembly and cleaning, the lock stick is gone and the action is smooth. If you like the pyrite and front flippers, you'll love the ekko. I'm sure I would have preferred the liner lock version, but this ti/micarta just called to me. Out of a vast collection, I carry and use this pretty regularly.

Ridiculous value
This version is just such a great value for the titanium bolsters and getting a milled titanium clip. You also get slightly contoured micarta scales because the bolsters which the other button lock versions don't have. You should be able to see the contour rings in the micarta on the product images. Action is super smooth with a detent that feels magnetic, really satisfying. It's not a complaint for me because I like the weight, but it is relatively heavy for the size (no weight reduction in the liners) if you're looking for lightweight. And then the compromise for the price is that you feel all of the hardware with every button head being a little proud and then proud liners/"onlay" scales. This feels so premium compared to my Pyrite.

Ok, great exclusive here... but for the lefties, the detailed specs say "right/left carry", and all other Ekkos have a reversible clip. This one does not, however. Didn't notice in the picture. Liner look like it has the hole, for it, but the g10 scale does not! It'll have to go back.

Love the feel of the handle and it is crazy sharp. Not 100% psyched about the button lock... if you wrist flip it closed it tends to bounce back open. And the clip is kinda meh. Wish it had a deeper carry. Looks really flashy. Great value.

Almost a Pyrite
This KC offering is great but it's still another almost Pyrite with a button lock. I could spend an entire paycheck garnering all the versions of the Pyrite... but why. They are all wonderful knives but at the end of the day they are all really the same knife. That said I'm still happy with this purchase. It's a quality knife that feels good in the hand & has a nice blade shape. Fit & finish are also top notch but I'm done here.

Disappointed in blade finish
I was really excited about getting this knife. Unfortunately the one I received has a blemish/discoloration on the blade. Since they’re out of them I doubt there’s anything Knifecenter can do to fix it.
